Business Analyst - Time & Attendance (T&A) Transformation Brazil

Division: Weir Minerals Location: Brazil (remote)

What we do at Weir

We are a global leader in mining technology for a sustainable future. We help our customers extract the resources the world needs more efficiently and more sustainably. Our planet’s future depends on the transition to renewable energy, and that transition can only happen with the metals and minerals our customers deliver. So, we work side by side with mines across the globe to move less rock, use less energy, use water wisely, and create less waste. Together, we drive the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.

Make your impact

Weir PLC is implementing a global Time & Attendance (T&A) transformation program and is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Brazil deployment.

This is a delivery-focused role with active involvement in the day-to-day execution of the T&A implementation lifecycle. You will support the analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization of the future-state solution, while documenting business and statutory requirements and helping translate them into system functionality. Working closely with business stakeholders and project teams, you will help ensure a successful rollout and adoption across Brazil.

What you’ll do

  • Current State Assessment & Process Analysis: Analyze current Time & Attendance processes, policies, system configurations, workforce management practices, pay rules, schedules, collective bargaining considerations, statutory requirements, and integrations with Payroll, HR, and related systems to identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
  • Requirements & Compliance Management: Gather, document, and validate business, operational, and statutory requirements, partnering with HR, Payroll, Operations, and business stakeholders to ensure Brazilian labor, timekeeping, and compliance requirements are accurately reflected in solution design and implementation decisions.
  • Solution Design & Implementation Support: Support solution design workshops, configuration reviews, process mapping, data migration, and system integration activities, ensuring future-state solutions align with documented business requirements and vendor deliverables.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and decision-making discussions with local stakeholders, implementation partners, and technology vendors, providing recommendations and functional expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Readiness, Training & Continuous Improvement: Support training development, process documentation, cutover planning, go-live readiness, transition to operational support, post-go-live stabilization, and ongoing process optimization to ensure successful adoption of new workforce management solutions.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves:

  •  2 to 5 years of experience supporting Time & Attendance (T&A), Workforce Management (WFM), or Timekeeping systems implementation, including configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.
  • Experience analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into system designs and functional solutions.
  • Strong understanding of workforce management processes and integrations between Payroll, T&A, and related HR systems.
  • Experience with Time & Attendance solutions used within Brazil, including knowledge of Brazilian labor and timekeeping legislation.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience supporting multinational or global Workforce Management transformation programs within complex operational environments.
  • Familiarity with Time & Attendance and Workforce Management platforms such as GeoVictoria, Ahgora, ADP eTime, ADP Essential, ADP EZ Labour, UKG, WorkForce Software, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors Time, Workday Time Tracking, or similar solutions.
  • Spanish will be a plus.
