Job Summary

The Associate Enterprise Business Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate the needs of business partners and translate those needs into business requirements through elicitation and documentation. The resulting business requirements documentation is used as a basis for functional requirements and vendor RFP/RFIs. Solutions often include a systems development component, but may also consist of process improvement or organizational change.  

Essential Job Functions

  • Requirements Elicitation - Discover the business requirements through communication withbusiness partners and technology stakeholders. Facilitate elicitation sessions and conduct individualinterviews to ensure comprehensive capture of business requirements. Document and maintaindetailed business requirements - (50%)
  • Communication and Relationship Management - Work with SMEs to ensure requirements arethorough and complete. Interact diplomatically with all levels of the organization, external partnersand clients to both elicit requirements and provide requirement status. Foster and coordinatecommunication/reporting across projects. - (30%)
  • Process Improvement – Participate in process improvement projects and re-engineering efforts bydocumenting and analyzing business processes and working with business teams to identify gaps. - (20%)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field of study, or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 0-1 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst or experience within Information Services or Technology.
  • 0-1 years of experience in creating process flows, process maps (level 3 and Level 4) and Documentation.
  • 0-1 years of experience in retail financial services or the information technology fields having Waterfall and Agile methodology background.
