QA Engineer

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Functional Testing, SQL, and Web Automation. The ideal candidate should have strong testing fundamentals, the ability to validate application functionality, and experience in automating web-based applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform functional testing to ensure applications meet business and functional requirements.

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and test scenarios.

• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts.

• Perform hands-on web application automation testing.

• Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and verify database integrity.

• Identify, document, track, and report defects using defect management tools.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.

• Perform regression, retesting, and end-to-end testing.

• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Functional Testing.

• Good working knowledge of SQL and database validation.

• Hands-on experience in Web Automation Testing.

• Strong understanding of test case design, test execution, defect life cycle, and STLC.

• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience in API Testing.

• Knowledge of API automation frameworks and tools such as REST Assured or Postman.

• Understanding of API validation, request/response handling, and integration testing.
