Salesforce Business Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst based in the United States.

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical development teams. In this role, you will translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories that support successful project delivery. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners and development teams to validate requirements, streamline workflows, and ensure alignment with business objectives. You will also oversee business process mapping, maintain essential documentation, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This position offers the opportunity to contribute to Salesforce-driven initiatives while improving processes and delivering effective technology solutions. Accountabilities As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into structured technical deliverables and ensuring effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Develop and document clear, actionable user stories using Jira.

• Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into functional requirements.

• Facilitate requirements reviews with Product Owners to validate accuracy, completeness, and acceptance of user stories.

• Ensure requirements and deliverables are aligned with business expectations and project objectives.

• Create and maintain comprehensive user documentation and product documentation.

• Map and document business processes to identify workflows, dependencies, and potential improvements.

• Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and technical development teams.

• Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure a shared understanding of project requirements.

• Plan, lead, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities in collaboration with business owners.

• Coordinate UAT preparation, execution, feedback collection, and validation to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has strong Salesforce experience, a solid understanding of business analysis practices, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The following qualifications are required:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Salesforce and business analysis roles.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce platforms, functionalities, and business applications.

• Experience writing and managing user stories using Jira.

• Proven ability to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.

• Experience facilitating requirements reviews and acceptance processes with Product Owners.

• Strong business process mapping and documentation skills.

• Experience creating and maintaining user guides, product documentation, and functional specifications.

• Demonstrated ability to bridge communication between business stakeholders and software development teams.

• Hands-on experience planning, coordinating, and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.

• U.S. citizenship is required.
