Job title: Senior Business Analyst Location: ScottishPower HQ, Glasgow (Hybrid) Salary from: £40,400 per annum + other excellent benefits Permanent

Help us create a better future, quicker

At ScottishPower, we're transforming the way technology and business services support our customers and operations. As part of our Customer Business SAP Centre of Excellence, we're looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can strengthen operational governance, improve collaboration and help ensure our business-critical systems and services are delivered effectively and efficiently.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of change, supporting operational readiness, service improvements and the introduction of emerging technologies including AI-enabled solutions. You'll work across business, technology and supplier teams, helping to create robust, scalable and sustainable processes that support the future of our business.

What you'll be doing

You'll coordinate go-live readiness activities across key applications and services, ensuring risks, dependencies, controls and support arrangements are understood and managed effectively. You'll play a key role in strengthening incident and change management processes, helping teams respond effectively to operational challenges whilst maintaining strong governance and compliance standards.

Working closely with stakeholders across technology, operational and supplier environments, you'll identify opportunities to improve processes, monitor control effectiveness and implement enhancements that deliver measurable benefits. You'll also support audit activities, process assurance and the governance of emerging technologies, helping ensure innovation is introduced in a controlled and effective way.

What you'll bring

We're looking for an experienced business analysis or operational governance professional with a strong understanding of process controls, change management and service operations.

You'll have experience working in complex business and technology environments, supporting business change, operational readiness, incident management or service transition activities. You'll be comfortable analysing information, identifying risks and developing practical solutions that improve performance and control.

You'll also bring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build effective relationships across business, technical and supplier communities. Experience with SAP, IT service management disciplines, Agile delivery approaches or Atlassian toolsets would be beneficial, as would exposure to AI-enabled solutions and emerging technology governance.

What's in it for you

As well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits. With our pension scheme, we'll double match your contribution up to a company contribution of 10%.

At ScottishPower, we believe it's the little things we do in life that make a big difference. From helping you look after your family's wellbeing, save for your future and take personal steps for climate action, our benefits are designed to help you do just that.

That's why our benefits include:

  • 36 days annual leave
  • Holiday Purchase
  • Share Schemes
  • Payroll Giving and Charity Matched Funding
  • Technology Vouchers
  • Electric Vehicle Schemes
  • Cycle to Work scheme and Public Transport Season Ticket Loans
  • Healthcare benefit options including Private Medical Insurance and Health Cash Plans
  • Life Assurance (4x salary)
  • Access to Savesmart financial wellbeing support
  • Shopping, leisure, restaurant and gym discounts
