Desktop Support Engineer is an IT professional who troubleshoots and maintains computer hardware, software, and network connections for an organization

Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Resolve hardware and software issues reported via helpdesk tickets, phone, or in person.
  • System Setup: Install, configure, and update operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and office applications.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Repair or replace computer parts, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
  • User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets using tools like Active Directory
