Full description

Salary: $40,000 - $75,000 per year (based on experience)

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager / Estimator with experience in commercial storefront and heavy glass projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating

  • Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for storefront and heavy glass projects.
  • Complete quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis.
  • Obtain vendor and subcontractor quotes.
  • Submit competitive and profitable bids.

Project Management

  • Manage awarded projects from contract execution through closeout.
  • Coordinate schedules, materials, subcontractors, and field crews.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and timelines.
  • Communicate with customers, general contractors, architects, and suppliers.
  • Process change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Resolve project challenges while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management and/or estimating within the storefront and heavy glass industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial glazing systems, storefronts, entrances, and heavy glass installations.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing commercial glazing projects from start to finish.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling and cost tracking.
  • Familiarity with industry estimating software.

Physical Demands:

This position primarily works in an office environment with occasional visits to construction sites. The employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, use a computer, communicate with customers and team members, and occasionally lift or carry items up to 20 pounds.
