REPORTS TO:                  Data Analytics and Reporting Manager

LOCATION:                      Project Management Office, Woerden, NL (PMO-NL)

STATUS:                          Full-time

The Partnership for Supply Chain Management (PFSCM) focuses on strengthening and managing secure, reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable global supply chains to enhance health and well-being in low- and middle-income countries by increasing access to quality and affordable health products. We assist governments, non-profit organizations, commercial firms, and humanitarian agencies in achieving their public health objectives through cost-saving procurement, efficient logistics, pharma-grade storage, last-mile delivery solutions, and real-time data tracking. Overall responsibilities

Designs, develops, and maintains interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and underlying data models to convert raw supply chain and operational data into actionable business insights. The SQL Power BI Analyst works closely with the Lead Data Analyst and business stakeholders to write optimized SQL queries, construct star-schema data models, build complex DAX measures, and enforce data accuracy across internal and external reporting platforms.

Specific responsibilities

Data Visualization & Reporting

  • Design, construct, publish, and maintain visually compelling, intuitive Power BI dashboards and executive reports.
  • Establish standardized visual layouts and user-friendly interface designs that facilitate data exploration for non-technical users.
  • Maintain and refresh existing enterprise reports, optimizing performance and query speeds.

SQL Querying, Data Modeling & ETL

  • Write, test, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to extract and transform data from relational databases and data warehouses.
  • Connect Power BI to diverse data sources, utilizing Power Query and Power Automate for robust Data Transformation and Data Cleaning (ETL).
  • Develop robust relational data models within Power BI, utilizing star schemas, relationships, and advanced DAX measures/calculated columns.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Technical Analysis

  • Gather and refine reporting requirements from business units (Logistics, Sourcing, Finance, QA), translating them into functional technical specs.
  • Conduct variance analysis, trend modeling, and KPI tracking to support operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Assist users across the organization by providing technical training and documentation on published Power BI reports.

Data Integrity & Governance

  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of data outputs to ensure full accuracy before deploying dashboards.
  • Align data structures with PFSCM’s overall Data Governance Framework and security access policies.
  • Troubleshoot reporting errors, broken data feeds, or calculation discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications

Professional and Technical Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of dedicated hands-on experience in BI development, data visualization, and database querying.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service), DAX, and Power Query.
  • Advanced SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL, T-SQL) with demonstrated ability to query large relational databases efficiently.
  • Application of AI in reporting.
  • Solid understanding of relational database design, star schemas, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience with supply chain, logistics, or ERP data environments is a strong advantage.
  • Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Interpersonal skills/Communication 

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills, with the ability to explain technical dashboard features clearly.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and rigorous attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
