Full description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive BI Platform Administrator (Tableau-Power BI) who will be responsible for administration, support, governance, security, performance, and operational stability of enterprise reporting and analytics platforms, including Tableau and Power BI. Ensures reliable delivery of dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytics services while supporting business users, developers, and data teams.

Key Responsibilities –

  • Administered Tableau Server and Power BI environments across Development, UAT, and Production.
  • Managed platform upgrades, patching, configuration, maintenance, and user onboarding activities.
  • Controlled user access, security groups, workspaces, projects, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
  • Led deployment and migration of dashboards, reports, data sources, and semantic models using CI/CD practices.
  • Provided L2/L3 support, troubleshooting performance issues, data refresh failures, gateway issues, and access-related incidents.
  • Conducted Root Cause Analysis (RCA), incident resolution, and ensured SLA compliance.
  • Monitored platform health, capacity, availability, utilization, and performance, implementing proactive optimization measures.
  • Managed authentication and security integrations, including Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), SAML, OAuth, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Supported enterprise data connectivity across data platforms.
  • Collaborated with Business Stakeholders, Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Vendor teams to drive platform governance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/MIS, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Knowledge & Skills REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience –
  • Visualization Platforms – Tableau, Microsoft Power BI
  • Cloud & Infrastructure – AWS , Windows Server , EC2 ,S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch
  • DevOps & Automation – GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD Pipelines, PowerShell, Python, Jira, ServiceNow
  • Monitoring & Observability – Grafana, Prometheus, Tableau Administrative Views
  • Security & Authentication – Oauth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, SSL/TLS Certificates, Security Auditing, Access Governance

Knowledge & Skills Good To Have:

  • Data & Analytics Platforms - Data Warehousing Concepts, Data Lakes, Data Modeling Fundamentals, Data Quality Concepts, Data Governance Principles, Metadata Management
