The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of our Enterprise Claims liability product. This role requires a deep understanding of product knowledge, operational processes, liability claim regulations, and the ability to provide business requirements for development. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our product offerings, streamline workflows, and drive product development.
This is a hybrid role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of product, including feature performance, utilization trends, and user feedback; identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions to enhance product functionality and user experience
- Data Analysis: Utilize techniques to extract meaningful insights and identify patterns to inform product development and optimization efforts
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving liability regulations, regulatory compliance rules and regulations, and industry standards impacting liability claim management practices
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, software development, quality assurance, and customer support teams to obtain requirements, prioritize enhancements, and facilitate the successful implementation of product improvements; act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on technical and functional aspects of the Enterprise Claim liability product
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities to validate product enhancements, ensure accuracy and consistency in claim management, and verify compliance with predefined specifications and requirements; conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Documentation and Training: Assist the documentation and training team to develop comprehensive documentation, training materials, and user guides to support internal teams and external stakeholders in understanding and effectively utilizing the liability claim product; provide training sessions and demonstrations as needed to ensure proper product adoption and utilization
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency gains within the claim management product lifecycle; drive initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce manual interventions, and improve overall product performance
- Additional duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Strong understanding of claim management processes, reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and draw actionable insights
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, agile principles, and experience working in cross-functional teams
- Exceptional interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Experience with creating and leading presentations and/or conducting training with various levels of users
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, thoroughness, and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Aptitude for learning systems and technical processes
- Adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines with demonstrated ability to manage details and timelines for multiple simultaneous complex projects
- Demonstrated ability to provide product requirements and drive innovation
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., SCLA, ARM) preferred
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare industry roles with a focus on liability claim management
- Proven leadership experience, especially in matrix or cross-functional settings, is highly desirable
PAY RANGE:
CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $99,250 - $166,777
