  • Provide technical sales support to maximize sales growth of Henkel’s General Industrial Adhesives business in the Western Connecticut territory.
  • Work the sales process to identify, develop and quantify the appropriate value proposition for your customers by matching their needs with our adhesive’s solutions.
  • Motivate and train authorized industrial distributors to sell LOCTITE brand products and solutions.
  • Develop and present formal training sessions to industrial and manufacturing MRO and OEM customers.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities while managing existing customer base, by visiting customers to solve manufacturing needs with our technologies and value-added solutions.
  • Implement strategies to support the profitable growth of Henkel’s product lines in the territory.
  • Prioritize & execute sales/marketing programs for the assigned area in alignment with Henkel’s go-to market strategies.
  • Effectively communicate progress and needs to the management team.
  • Utilize Henkel’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage the sales engagement activities and project pipeline.
  • Visiting customers to solve manufacturing or repair problems with our value-added solutions
  • Offering a proactive and consultative approach to exploring needs and finding innovative solutions for customers with the support of our technical team
  • You represent the values of the company thinking in a broad and agile way.

You collaborate as part of strong team: Collaborate internally with customer service, marketing, engineering, and other functions to deliver an excellent customer experience while driving sustainable growth

You own your results: You will cultivate and grow customers through account management. Including building relationships, product training and demonstrations

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelors in Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • 3+ years of Technical Sales preferred.
  • Technical aptitude, relationship-building skills, and being a self-starter are required.
  • Strong value selling skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft proficiency is required, with emphasis on Excel being required.
  • Time and territory management skills, working remotely.
  • Travel requirements within territory for this role (80% on the road in CT day to day. Around 20% allocated for potential overnights)
  • Territory will encompass locations in western Connecticut including the greater Hartford area and Litchfield, Hartford, Middlesex, New Haven, and Fairfield Counties

The salary range for this role is $85,000.00 and $95,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
