The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.   

As a Project Manager, you will define, plan, coordinate and integrate activities associated with upgrades/changes to existing products. These activities include coordination of artwork and packaging, in house and third part manufacturing, inventory phase in and phase out, procurement and all other manufacturing/operations/supply chain activities associated with launching new products or changing existing products. Document and maintain all project related plans, schedules, meeting minutes, management reviews, etc. Will be responsible for tracking and reporting project status and progress to Management.

This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

What You’ll Work On

  • Manage on-market product changes by leading a cross-functional team through impact assessment, project planning, risk management, and execution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans that align with project scope, clearly illustrate the team's progress, and serve as the foundation to report the status of the project.
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
  • Help to prioritize activities among several programs to balance resource availability, program status and schedule, and business need.
  • Work with functional leadership to anticipate and solve problems, and work to break down barriers in program management.
  • Participate in review meetings representing worldwide cross-functional teams plans including development, marketing, sales, regulatory, and operations.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience is required including knowledge of Program Management tools such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • This position requires the ability to collect information from multiple sources, sort through, integrate, and resolve any conflicting requirements, and drive an organization through the various issues to result in a successful project execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills are required in leading cross-function teams and communicating project status.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and handle complexity.
  • Experience in labeling, product development, or manufacturing for medical device products.
  • Experience working with complex product ecosystems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.

The base pay for this position is

$90,000.00 – $180,000.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
