Summary
- The Business Intelligence & Performance Officer plays a crucial role in providing top-notch business intelligence, performance management, data analysis, and reporting services within the Communities & Homes sector. This position is vital for equipping managers and senior leaders with precise, timely, and insightful data to facilitate informed operational, financial, and strategic decisions. This is a 3-6 month contract with a local authority, offering a daily rate of £350 under an umbrella arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Design and sustain performance dashboards, scorecards, and management information reports utilizing Power BI, Excel, and other business intelligence tools.
- Generate both regular and ad-hoc reports for managers, senior leadership teams, elected officials, regulators, and various stakeholders.
- Examine operational, financial, and performance data to uncover trends, risks, opportunities, and areas needing enhancement.
- Convey complex data and insights in a straightforward and accessible manner to aid evidence-based decision-making.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in business intelligence, performance management, reporting, data analytics, or management information.
- Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and deliver insights that support both operational and strategic decision-making.
- Experience in creating dashboards, performance reports, and business intelligence solutions.
- Background in supporting business improvement, transformation programs, or business analysis activities.
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Information Management, Business Analysis, Housing Management, or a related field.
Additional Information
- Working hours are 37.5 hours per week.
- Hybrid work model with 3 days a week onsite.
- Payments are processed on a bi-weekly schedule.
