Job DetailsJob Location: Lewisville, TX 75057VIVA Railings is seeking an experienced Project Manager to guide our projects from inception to final implementation. This role is pivotal in ensuring that each project is executed flawlessly, adheres to the client’s specifications, stays within budget, and complies with all regulatory requirements. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements.
Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring seamless progression from design through to installation.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and quality materials and services.
Regulatory Compliance and Permitting:
Secure all necessary permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant health, safety, and quality standards.
Resource and Budget Management:
Determine resources needed for each project, including manpower, equipment, and materials, within budgetary limits.
Manage procurement and inventory to efficiently address project needs and avoid delays.
Team and Operations Management:
Direct and supervise project teams, including laborers and technical staff, ensuring clear communication and professional development.
Monitor project milestones and adjust project plans and schedules as needed.
Quality and Standards Enforcement:
Regularly evaluate project progress through detailed reports and on-site assessments.
Uphold high standards of quality and safety throughout project execution.
QualificationsJOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Demonstrated experience as a project manager, preferably in the railing or construction industry.
Comprehensive understanding of fabrication procedures, materials, and project management principles.
Familiarity with quality standards and health & safety protocols.
Proficient in MS Office.
Experience with construction/project management software.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
Superb organizational and time-management competencies.
A collaborative individual with leadership qualities.
BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or a pertinent field.
PMP or an equivalent certification would be beneficial.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Knowledgeable about fabrication techniques, anchorage, connections, and installation of railings or ornamental metal.
Familiar with commercial building procedures and adept at reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications.
Construction-related associate's or bachelor’s degree is favored.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and MS Project or comparable construction scheduling software.
Aptitude to adapt to new construction management software as required.
Experience in estimating and quoting is favored.
Stellar communication and client interaction skills are highly sought-after.
Superb organizational and time-management competencies.
A collaborative individual with leadership qualities.
