  • Set standards for application structure, state management, testing and dependencies, enforced through code reviews and automated checks.
  • Define and enforce performance budgets and accessibility (WCAG) as architectural requirements.
  • Own frontend security, including content security policy, dependency supply chain and safe token handling in the browser.
  • Write production code, modernize legacy frontends and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineering teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
  • Mentor engineers and establish frontend best practices across the global engineering organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of hands-on frontend engineering, including several years architecting large multi-team web applications.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages would be considered an advantage.
  • Expert proficiency in TypeScript and React, with hands-on Next.js experience in high-load production systems.
  • Deep understanding of web performance: Core Web Vitals, bundle budgets, caching and rendering strategy.
  • Practical command of accessibility standards (WCAG) and browser security (CSP, CORS, XSS, CSRF).
  • Experience defining and operating a design system used by more than one product team.
  • Strong background in modern build tooling, monorepo management and frontend CI/CD pipelines.
