Full description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Sales Executive & Solutions Engineer based in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of enterprise sales, process transformation, and agentic AI for manufacturing and supply chains. You will work alongside Account Executives to turn qualified customer opportunities into practical, outcome-driven AI solutions. The position combines process discovery, solution design, agent configuration, executive presentations, and commercial ownership. Rather than building software from scratch, you will use a pre-built AI foundation and configure digital workers to address complex business workflows. You will translate operational challenges into measurable outcomes such as improved OTIF, lower costs, reduced cycle times, and optimized working capital. The role offers significant autonomy within a small, entrepreneurial team operating at the forefront of agentic AI for manufacturing. It is an opportunity to help shape emerging solution patterns, customer engagement practices, and the evolution of an AI-focused business division.

Accountabilities:
- Partner closely with Account Executives to take qualified opportunities from discovery through solution design, demonstration, and commercial progression.
- Lead process discovery workshops with customer stakeholders and champion users, mapping current-state workflows, KPIs, manual effort, bottlenecks, business requirements, and desired future-state outcomes.
- Analyze enterprise processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Source-to-Contract (S2C), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Plan-to-Make (P2M), Forecast-to-Plan (F2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R) to identify opportunities for agentic automation.
- Design agentic solutions by determining which AI agents should work independently or together to address a customer's process and business objectives.
- Evaluate whether proposed solutions represent greenfield opportunities or brownfield integrations with existing enterprise platforms such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or Jaggaer.
- Map customer KPIs and business requirements to the underlying AI platform, ensuring the necessary data, semantics, context, and measurement capabilities are available.
- Configure agents using natural-language and drag-and-drop tools, including triggers, decision logic, exceptions, KPIs, data sources, communications, business rules, and hand-offs without requiring traditional software development.
- Present solution concepts to customer stakeholders and executives, connecting the proposed agentic workflows directly to measurable business outcomes such as OTIF performance, working capital, cycle time, and cost reduction.
- Develop and refine repeatable solution patterns, workshop frameworks, documentation, and playbooks as the platform and AI solution portfolio evolve.
- Work resourcefully across Account Executive, Product, and Customer Success teams to remove obstacles, advance opportunities, and help customers realize value.
- Contribute customer insights and process knowledge to the evolution of the solution portfolio and go-to-market approach.
- Operate as a self-directed builder within a small entrepreneurial environment, identifying opportunities to improve how solutions are designed, demonstrated, and delivered.
Requirements
- 3+ years of quota-carrying experience selling technology, AI, SaaS, or enterprise software solutions, with demonstrated ability to manage commercial conversations and drive revenue outcomes.
- Strong enterprise process expertise, with practical end-to-end working knowledge of at least two major business processes including P2P, S2C, O2C, P2M, F2P, or R2R. Particularly deep expertise in Plan-to-Make and Procure-to-Pay is highly valuable.
- Strong solution-design thinking, with the ability to break down ambiguous business outcomes into appropriate agents, workflows, data requirements, and decision flows.
- Ability to determine when a business problem can be addressed by a single agent and when multiple coordinated agents are required.
- Hands-on familiarity with low-code and natural-language automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar tools.
- Strong customer-facing presence, including experience facilitating discovery workshops and presenting solutions to executive-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex operational challenges into compelling business value.
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed mindset, with the ability to create frameworks, documentation, and solution patterns when established processes do not yet exist.
- Strong resourcefulness and collaboration skills, with the ability to bring together sales, product, customer success, and other stakeholders to move opportunities forward.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and evolving priorities, particularly within a newly developing AI-focused organization.
- Experience at a major ERP provider or process consultancy such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, or a Big Four firm is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools is a plus.
- Industry experience in manufacturing, particularly with tier-one suppliers, is highly valued.
- Software engineering expertise, model building, machine learning, or data science experience is not required; the focus is on solution design, domain expertise, and customer outcomes.
Benefits
- Base compensation of $100,000–$140,000 USD, plus a strong overall benefits package.
- Healthcare and medical insurance to support employee wellbeing.
- Dental and vision coverage as part of the comprehensive benefits offering.
- 401(k) matching to support long-term financial planning.
- Paid time off (PTO) to support time away from work and work-life balance.
- Virtual-first remote culture, providing the flexibility to work remotely while supporting in-person customer workshops when needed within your market.
- Opportunity to work at the leading edge of agentic AI for manufacturing and supply-chain transformation.
- High level of autonomy within a small, entrepreneurial team where initiative, experimentation, and idea-sharing are encouraged over rigid hierarchy.
- Opportunity to shape emerging solution frameworks, customer engagement practices, and the development of an AI-focused business division.
- Collaborative environment focused on professional growth, innovation, and measurable customer outcomes.
