Position Overview:

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering enterprise application and software development projects across the organization. This role partners closely with program managers, software engineers, architects, data analysts, business analysts, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical leadership to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience managing software or application development projects, understands Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies, and is comfortable leading cross-functional teams through the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This position offers opportunities to lead increasingly complex technology initiatives while driving successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver enterprise application, software development, and technology projects from initiation through deployment.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, scope, action-item logs, risk and issue registers, decision logs, and project documentation.
  • Track milestones, dependencies, deliverables, budgets (where applicable), and overall project health.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, assign action items, and follow up on commitments.
  • Identify and proactively manage project risks, blockers, and dependencies while communicating status to leadership and stakeholders.

Software Development Team Collaboration

  • Partner with developers, architects, data analysts, business analysts, and product owners to deliver application enhancements and new technology solutions.
  • Coordinate activities across planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning as appropriate.
  • Coordinate software releases, implementation activities, and production readiness.

Business Analysis & Delivery Support

  • Support requirements gathering, solution reviews, project planning, and process documentation.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation planning, and post-implementation follow-up.
  • Ensure project deliverables align with business requirements, operational needs, and IT standards.
  • Continuously improve project management processes, reporting, and documentation.

Project Tools & Documentation

  • Maintain project information using Freshservice (Freshworks), Jira, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, or similar collaboration platforms.
  • Maintain organized SharePoint project workspaces and documentation repositories.
  • Promote documentation standards, version control, and information governance best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing technology projects with a focus on software development, enterprise applications, or systems integration.
  • Demonstrated experience leading full-stack development teams or application development teams through the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience managing project scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, budgets (where applicable), and stakeholder communications.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid project delivery environments.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering enterprise application, ERP, API, cloud, or systems integration projects.
  • Experience using Freshservice (Freshworks), Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project and work management platforms.
  • Experience coordinating software releases, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification is a plus.
