What you’ll do:
At WSP, we partner with some of the world's leading mining companies to deliver practical, sustainable engineering solutions that support their operations today while preparing them for the future. Our Adelaide Mining team is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to help deliver a diverse portfolio of small to medium sustaining capital and brownfields projects across Australia. This role aligns with WSP's mining project delivery environment and sustaining capital project focus.
With a strong focus on project delivery, this role is ideal for someone who has developed their career within engineering, construction, or mining environments and enjoys taking ownership of projects from initiation through to completion. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, contractors, and site personnel to deliver successful outcomes safely, on time, and within budget.

- Manage project scope, cost, schedule, risk, and stakeholder expectations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams including mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, process, and drafting resources
- Develop project execution strategies, delivery plans, and reporting frameworks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mining clients and key stakeholders
- Support procurement, contractor management, and construction coordination activities
- Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, risk workshops, and client presentations
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve delivery outcomes
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams while fostering a collaborative culture
About you:
You're a delivery-focused project professional who understands the realities of operating mine sites and the importance of balancing technical, commercial, and stakeholder requirements. You enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and seeing projects successfully progress from concept through to implementation.
- 10+ years of experience delivering engineering, mining, infrastructure, or industrial projects
- Demonstrated experience managing sustaining capital, brownfields, or operational site projects
- Previous site-based experience within mining, resources, heavy industry, or construction environments
- Strong understanding of project management principles, commercial management, and risk management
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working directly with operational personnel and site leadership teams
- Engineering, project management, or related technical qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, AIPM certification, or similar will be highly regarded
