Full description

The world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service is looking for a QA Tester to join the band in a consultant assignment. The client has transformed music listening forever when launched in 2008.

Period: 2026-10-05 to 2027-04-04 (full-time), with a possibility of extension.

About the role

We're looking for either two part-time testers or one full-time tester to join our squad. The assignment is 50–100%, with contracts renewed on a 6-month basis based on performance and need. For candidates currently studying, we'd love a longer-term collaboration that runs alongside your education. For candidates with prior QA experience, we're equally open to a focused engagement.

About the team

In the PPX Quality Team we work on some of the most important projects at our client and on figuring out how other teams can focus on quality without directly relying on us to do their QA for them. That means building a sustainable quality strategy, getting people into the habit of keeping quality top of mind, and making sure there are helpful tools and processes in place to support a self-service approach.

Our mission is to make sure that every device running an integration with our client offers a wonderful user experience. Setting up, testing, and verifying that our partner-built experiences are as good as we'd make them ourselves is a core part of that.

What you'll do

  • Set up new devices and their companion apps, and verify that they work the way they should
  • Execute manual test cases and carry out exploratory testing on our newest integrations
  • Write clear, reproducible bug reports
  • Maintain and update test cases as integrations and partner software evolve
  • Perform regression testing after partner fixes or new firmware/software releases
  • Summarise testing results and communicate with partners about certification outcomes, required changes, and next steps
  • Spot patterns across devices and partners, recurring issue types, common failure points, things that slow us down, and suggest improvements
  • Help support our showroom filled with cool devices

Who you are

  • Curious and methodical. You're comfortable learning new tools, devices, and setups quickly
  • Strong attention to detail. You notice when something feels off before you can explain why
  • Clear written communication in English (you'll be writing bug reports and partner-facing summaries daily)
  • Able to work on-site at our Stockholm office
  • Flexible on hours. The role can be shaped to fit your availability within the 50–100% range
