About the Position

As a Technical Product Manager for our Digital Domain, you will play a key role in defining and strategically developing our digital products. You will be responsible for end-to-end product roadmapping, translating business objectives into actionable plans, and ensuring their successful execution using agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban.

You will connect business requirements with technical implementation and work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Design, Data, and other interdisciplinary teams. You will actively manage stakeholders and requirements, create transparency, and ensure clear prioritization of product requirements.

Your strong understanding of cloud technologies and software architecture will enable you to manage development activities and make well-founded technical decisions. By using data analysis, you will continuously optimize products and advocate for an outstanding user experience.

In addition, you will lead and motivate agile, interdisciplinary teams and promote a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Product Manager, you translate customer needs into product concepts and take responsibility for the entire product life cycle, from the initial product idea through launch to phase-out. This also includes cross-team communication and collaboration with all stakeholders, including international stakeholders.

  • You initiate and support the development and strategic advancement of digital products
  • You define and manage cross-product roadmaps and translate business objectives into concrete implementation plans
  • You plan and coordinate product launches and develop targeted marketing concepts, including a communication strategy
  • You capture, analyze, and prioritize product requirements in close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders
  • You manage the implementation of development activities, taking cloud technologies, software architecture, and agile methods into account
  • You take responsibility for the quality experienced by customers and ensure the economic viability and continuous optimization of products
  • You use data analysis to support well-founded product decisions and continuously improve the user experience
  • You lead strategically oriented projects and agile, interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

You have a completed university degree with a focus on business administration, computer science, business informatics, engineering, product management, or a comparable field, or an equivalent qualification, and several years of professional experience in product development or product management.

You also possess the following knowledge and skills:

  • In-depth experience in defining and strategically developing product roadmaps
  • Very good knowledge of and practical experience with agile methods, particularly Scrum and Kanban
  • Excellent stakeholder-management skills and experience working with interdisciplinary and international teams
  • Solid experience in requirements management, including capturing, analyzing, and prioritizing product requirements
  • Very good knowledge of and practical experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • A basic understanding of software architecture principles and patterns
  • Experience in developing, managing, and scaling digital products
  • The ability to analyze data and use it to support strategic and operational product decisions
  • An understanding of user-centred UX design principles and customer experience
  • Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence to manage workflows and documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop agile, interdisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of API management as well as DevOps practices and CI/CD is an advantage
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity or data security is desirable
  • Product-management certifications, such as SAFe or CSPO, are an advantage
