Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with 12–15 years of IT project management experience to lead and manage end-to-end technology projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project planning, stakeholder management, delivery governance, risk management, and coordination across technical and business teams.
The candidate should be capable of managing multiple stakeholders, vendors, project teams, budgets, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring projects are delivered according to agreed scope, quality, cost, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring through to project closure.
- Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and delivery timelines.
- Manage project scope, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
- Coordinate closely with business users, technical teams, vendors, management, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Identify project risks and dependencies and implement appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
- Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear updates on project status, issues, risks, and action items.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, RAID logs, meeting minutes, requirements, and project closure reports.
- Manage vendors and third-party service providers to ensure contractual and project deliverables are met.
- Coordinate system implementation, integration, testing, deployment, migration, and post-implementation activities where applicable.
- Ensure proper project governance, change management, and escalation processes are followed.
- Track project financials, resource utilization, procurement, and budget where required.
- Facilitate UAT, SIT, deployment, go-live, and post-go-live support activities.
- Ensure project deliverables comply with organizational policies, IT standards, security requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Provide regular reporting and presentations to senior management and project steering committees.
- Lead project teams and ensure effective communication, collaboration, and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons-learned activities after project completion.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business IT, Project Management, or a related field.
- 12–15 years of overall IT experience, with substantial experience in IT project management.
- Proven experience managing large-scale and/or complex IT projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
- Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, risk management, issue resolution, stakeholder management, and project governance.
- Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and external vendors.
- Excellent understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT implementation processes.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
