Job Description

1. Responsible for implementing and monitoring the approved Project Quality Plan, ITPs, Method Statements, and QA/QC procedures for marine construction works.

2. Conduct all the inspection and quality control of pontoon, floating structures, jetties, walkways, pile foundations, and marine access structures.

3. Monitor pile installation, alignment, verticality, driving records, pile integrity testing, and load testing as per approved specifications.

4. Inspect reinforcement, formwork, embedded items, concrete pouring, curing, and repair works for marine structures.

5. Verify fabrication and installation of steel structures, handrails, brackets, connections, welding, bolting, and protective coating systems.

6. Conduct inspections for walkway and jetty installation, including decking, supports, connections, levels, alignment, and finishing works.

7. Coordinate and witness required material inspections, laboratory tests, concrete cube tests, welding/NDT tests, and other quality tests.

8. Raise, monitor, and close NCRs, observations, RFIs, inspection requests, and corrective/preventive actions in coordination with the construction team.

9. Review Material Submittals, MTCs, test certificates, calibration certificates, inspection reports, and as-built quality records for compliance.

10. Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, surveyors, and site teams to ensure marine works are executed safely and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
