The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in building technology organizations, driving large-scale engineering programs, and partnering with global stakeholders. You should be comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels while creating a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and scale engineering and technology capabilities within the Global Capability Center.
  • Define and execute engineering strategies aligned with global business and technology objectives.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across software engineering, data, AI, cloud, and platform technologies.
  • Develop effective engineering operating models, development practices, delivery frameworks, and organizational structures.
  • Partner with global technology and business leaders to define priorities, roadmaps, and investment areas.
  • Lead large-scale technology initiatives from strategy and architecture through execution and delivery.
  • Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, cloud-native technologies, automation, DevOps, and scalable platforms.
  • Establish standards for software quality, architecture, security, reliability, observability, and technical governance.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI, machine learning, data, automation, and emerging technologies to business and construction workflows.
  • Build and scale data and analytics capabilities that enable better operational and business decision-making.
  • Oversee technology architecture and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Establish engineering metrics, delivery governance, performance indicators, and continuous-improvement practices.
  • Develop talent strategies covering hiring, capability development, succession planning, mentoring, and leadership development.
  • Collaborate with global teams across engineering, product, operations, data, finance, and business functions.
  • Manage multiple strategic programs, dependencies, priorities, and technology initiatives across distributed teams.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, engineering excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Identify technology risks, dependencies, technical debt, and opportunities for process and platform improvement.
  • Ensure engineering practices align with applicable security, compliance, governance, and operational requirements.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Experience defining engineering strategy, technology roadmaps, operating models, and organizational structures.
  • Strong track record of delivering complex, large-scale technology programs with global stakeholders.
  • Experience driving digital transformation, automation, AI adoption, data modernization, or technology innovation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native development, and engineering best practices.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with sufficient technical depth to guide architecture and engineering decisions.
  • Strong experience with stakeholder management and executive-level communication across global teams.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a rapidly evolving environment.
