We are seeking a talented individual to join our Strategic Bid Center (SBC) team, part of our People and Investments business at Marsh. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Strategic Bid Center (SBC) team enables consultants with strategic and bespoke solutions during the sales cycle, increasing Marsh’s chances of winning new business through lead generation, client-focused proposals, strategic research, virtual consulting tools and graphic design support.

Our Design Team within SBC supports Marsh's sales and business development functions across all lines of business within United States. Our creative team spans across United States, India and Portugal offering expertise in presentation design, interactive media, creative enhancement for virtual and on-site client meetings – all with focus on client-centric approach.

This position entails accountability of design process – ideating, designing, quality assurance and branding across all levels of project complexities. The Senior Graphic Designer will be an integral part of our global creative team driving innovative, strategic design and client experience forward.

We will count on you to:

  • Independently create innovative, impactful, on-brand visual concepts for client-facing collateral.
  • Possess essential artistic abilities to communicate ideas, apply sound judgment, strategize, and coordinate within cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate adaptive creative skills, a flexible mindset, and the ability to react to the pace of business.
  • Feel comfortable managing multiple priorities and working in ambiguous situations.
  • Collaborate efficiently with teams on strategic initiatives and operational improvements to benefit the design process.
  • Maintain attention to detail and ensure the quality of design across all project phases.
  • Bring new ideas and approaches to enhance our client meeting experiences.
  • Create one-off and repeatable microsites, presentations, and supporting materials for sales pitches and internal initiatives.

What you need to have:

  • Fluent in English (C1 level).
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint (it will be the primary tool you use on a daily basis).
  • Skilled in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects is a plus.
  • Excellent design, color, and typographic skills.
  • Exceptional understanding of brand guidelines and quick adaptability.
  • Solid knowledge of industry tools, understanding of intuitive design, and responsive user experiences.
  • Proven 3+ years of experience working as a graphic designer in a corporate consulting, business firm, or creative environment.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a range of clean, well-designed text layouts, graphics, and published websites or mobile apps (not prototypes).
