Responsibilities:
The Network Engineer Expert is responsible for the comprehensive design, deployment, and ongoing support of the corporate office network infrastructure. Specializing in Cisco and Aruba LAN, WLAN, and network authentication services, this role involves developing High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and detailed documentation to ensure robust and scalable network solutions. You will handle complex, escalated incidents with a focus on resolution and prevention, while acting as a subject matter expert (SME) to influence architecture standards, promote best practices, and drive network standardization across the organization. Additionally, you will provide third-level operational support for critical network issues, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of the corporate network environment.
Qualifications:
- University Degree / Diploma from reputed Institution
- Minimum working experience required on Network is 5 years with at least 2 years in complex enterprise network engineer role in a sizable organization.
- Professional level certifications from Leading Product Vendors such as Cisco (CCNP, CCIE), HPE Aruba (e.g. ACSP, ACCP) etc
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and passionate to solve complex network issues under time pressure.
- Must be hands-on expertise in sizable environment
- Extensive, hands-on experience in the designing, implementing, and troubleshooting of office LAN/WAN routing and switching within medium to large enterprises.
- Proven experience in managing the full lifecycle of Cisco and Aruba campus networks (deployments, hardware refresh, OS upgrades, and patching).
- Advanced knowledge of modern LAN technologies, with hands-on experience in Aruba CX features (VSF/VSX, Dynamic Segmentation, NAE analytics, colorless ports, NetEdit/Central templates) and centralized management using Aruba Central.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocol suite and application layer protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, IPsec, etc.), with ability to do packet-level analysis (e.g., Wireshark).
- Proven experience with core routing protocol and network services: OSPF, BGP, QoS, STP, HSRP/VRRP, RADIUS/TACACS+, SNMP, NTP, NetFlow, 802.1X, VXLAN, IPSec.
- Extensive, hands-on experience in Enterprise grade WiFi deployment with Aruba and Cisco technologies. Ability to deploy and troubleshoot on complex WiFi deployment models.
- Strong understanding in designing and implementing SD-WAN over diverse underlay networks.
- Experience using bandwidth and performance analysis tools (e.g., NetFlow/IPFIX collectors) and SNMP-based Network Management Systems (NMS).
- Familiarity with NMS and monitoring tools such as Aruba Central, LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, NetScout, Syslog servers, and log analysis platforms.
- Proficiency in producing high-quality network documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), operational procedures, and as-built network diagrams.
- Basic to intermediate scripting skills (Shell/PERL/Python) for automation, backup processes, and REST API integrations with modern NMS and orchestration platforms.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging networking products, features, and industry trends across Aruba (e.g., Aruba CX, Central, ClearPass, EdgeConnect) and Cisco portfolios including but not limited to Catalyst, Aironet and ISE.
- Hands-on experience with private and public cloud networking is considered advantageous.
