Business Analyst (Data & AI Readiness) | About You
As a Business Analyst (Data & AI Readiness), you will lead discovery, assessment, and documentation efforts to help organizations evaluate their data landscape and readiness for AI-driven initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand current-state processes, data sources, document management practices, and information architecture, translating findings into actionable recommendations. This is a highly client-facing role that requires strong communication, stakeholder management, business analysis, and data project experience.
Business Analyst (Data & AI Readiness) | Day-to-Day
- Facilitate discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to assess business processes, data sources, document repositories, and AI readiness requirements.
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
- Evaluate current-state information management, data governance, and content management processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and AI enablement.
- Create detailed documentation, process maps, requirements artifacts, gap analyses, and recommendations for future-state solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data specialists, solution architects, and delivery teams, to support project objectives.
- Communicate project status, findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders while ensuring timely completion of project deliverables.
Business Analyst (Data & AI Readiness) | Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong track record of leading discovery, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Experience supporting data, analytics, data governance, or digital transformation projects, including process analysis and documentation of data-related requirements.
- Strong client-facing consulting skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, conduct interviews, and communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
- Proven experience creating business requirements documents, process flows, current-state/future-state assessments, gap analyses, and executive-level deliverables.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across geographically distributed teams.
