Financial Analyst

 

Department: Finance

Direct Supervisor: Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Status: Full-time

 

 

Summary: 

 

The Financial Analyst position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day and monthly financial planning processes for the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium, and related entities. This role assists with departmental forecasting, financial reporting, and forecast consolidation, while helping translate financial results into clear insights for management decisions.

 

Location:

 

  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the monthly forecasting process, including financial reporting, department-level updates, and identifying key drivers behind major forecast adjustments
  • Support maintenance of consolidated forecast submissions from departments and ensure updates are accurately reflected in management reports and dashboards
  • Summarize key financial results and forecast information from submissions into high-level presentations for leadership review
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and support cross-functional projects with the FP&A team and department stakeholders
  • Support process improvements across recurring FP&A reporting, dashboards, and consolidations

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related Business field
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in Finance or Sports industry
  • Detail-oriented, organized, personable, proactive team player
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Copilot, Power BI and/or Cube planning software experience are a plus
  • High attention to detail with the ability to translate meaningful financial information into clear business explanations
  • Communication and note-taking skills when meeting and working with department leaders across the enterprise
  • Strong time management skills across recurring and ad-hoc projects based on team needs
