Job Title: GDT Assistant Media Manager - Business Analyst

Location: Mumbai/Bangalore

Background:

Project Management

  • Plan, track, and drive execution of business initiatives, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are met
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to remove blockers and maintain momentum
  • Maintain project documentation, roadmaps, and status reports for leadership visibility

Product Management

  • Support product discovery by gathering and synthesizing requirements from stakeholders and end users
  • Assist in defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize features/backlogs in collaboration with product owners based on business impact
  • Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure product output aligns with business goals

Descriptive Analytics

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large-scale historical business data to uncover trends, correlations, and root-cause performance drivers across campaigns and channels
  • Architect and maintain automated, scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks (SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau) enabling real-time tracking of KPIs
  • Apply statistical techniques (cohort analysis, trend decomposition, variance analysis) to move beyond surface-level reporting into deeper diagnostic insights

Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare and deliver clear, structured presentations and reports to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements both ways

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
  • 3–5 years of experience in a business analyst, project coordinator, or product analyst role
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL and BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a strong plus
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis (e.g., pandas, NumPy) on cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure is a strong plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Working experience with Lean Six Sigma and Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of applying them to drive process improvement
