NEOTech is looking for a Materials Project Manager.  The job is onsite and based in the Westborough, MA location. To learn more about NEOTech, please visit our website:  www.neotech.com Summary: Support a wide range of projects that identify, analyze and mitigate material risks.  Coordinate and collaborate with Customer Focus Team (CFT) members to manage critical components, analyze KPIs and meet project objectives.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop initial product delivery commitments to customer & program manager by performing a what-if analysis using data from MRP system, supply base and material quote model. Employ demand management strategies to ensure pending changes due to deviations, pending ECOs and customer supplied material are properly actioned.  Use reports from MRP system and review material alignment against product delivery commitments.  Work with CFT to discuss possible solutions, get necessary approvals and provide instructions to purchasing. Process ECOs related to material changes (turnkey/consigned, alternate parts, etc.) Provide excess and obsolete (E&O) analysis on a monthly basis to the program manager. Review Part Number Change Notices received from supply base and elevate information to Program Manager or Customer. Research and review material misalignments.  Work with Component Engineer for alternate parts, initiate part transfers from other customers when applicable. Create material part numbers and Update AML’s through Doc Control department. Maintain Item Master information in MRP system.  This includes information such as part notes, purchasing comments, LTB date and preferred packaging. Maintain and update material standard costs as needed in the MRP system.  Run reports out of MRP system for actionable data.  Incuding: Excess and Obsolete, uPPV, milestone tracking, Tariff charges, CBOM, material cost for CCA procurement (PO) and additional reporting as needed. BOM reviews to ensure NEOTech BOM matches customer requirements. Create Purchase Orders to manage receipt of customer owned material. Prepare for new demand loads in MRP.  Provide quote information to purchasing.  Assist in setting and updating Supplier Price Listing (SPL) information in MRP system. Key stakeholder in managing material sales for excess and obsolete material and transferring material from turnkey to customer owned.  Works with PM and/or customer and provides work instructions to Warehouse for disposition of parts.  Follows sales order entry process. Assist in quoting repeat orders by pulling report (CBOM) out of MRP system and analyzing current part inventory.  Determine price and leadtime for parts that need to be ordered. Program Administrator for Small Business Subcontracting Plans.  Develop, prepare and execute individual subcontracting plans and monitor performance.  Submit reports as required. Support and follow all ISO standards related to OnCore’s various Quality Management Systems.  These systems may include, but are not limited to, quality, the environment, health, safety and security. Support all corporate and site 6S objectives. Perform all other duties, as required.  QualificationsEducation/Learning Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Work Experience

5+ years of experience in contract electronics manufacturing environment

Skills/Knowledge

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail oriented. Must be a team player and highly motivated. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical skills utilizing various tool sets. Excel super user.

Licenses/Certifications 

APICs CPIM certification preferred
