Job Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions.
- Build and update Salesforce components such as simple flows, Apex, and basic Lightning Web Components.
- Complete assigned work for enhancements, bug fixes, and process changes.
- Support the Admin/Business Analyst in gathering and clarify low level technical requirements.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and deployments.
Work with admins, developers, and business teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs and follow best practice.
- Learn and apply Salesforce best practices for security, automation, data structure, and system performance.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, information systems, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification, or progress toward certification
- Experience supporting system enhancements, bug fixes, and user stories.
- Familiarity with integrations, APIs, or data migration tools
- Experience creating technical documentation
- Basic understanding of Salesforce development and platform capabilities
Basic understanding of object oriented programming concepts
Additional Job Standards
- 1–3 years of related experience in Salesforce, software development, or business application support
- Basic experience with Salesforce platform development and configuration
- Basic experience with Apex, and Lightning Web Components
- Familiarity with Salesforce data model, security model, and automation tools
- Familiarity with deployment processes
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with guidance when needed
- Effective planning, organizing, and time management skills
- Problem-solving and decision making
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Basic understanding of Salesforce development and platform capabilities
- Basic understanding of object oriented programming concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in a structured way
- Ability to learn new tools, processes, and technologies
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users
- Attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong teamwork and willingness to ask questions
