Scope

  • Lead the successful delivery of Blue Yonder's cloud-native Supply Chain Data Platform initiatives by combining strong technical expertise with project execution and delivery.
  • Drive planning, execution, solution design, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices while remaining hands-on with software development, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with global cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.

  • Software: Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, Git, Hibernate, REST APIs, OAuth, GraphQL, Snowflake, Scala, Spark, Elasticsearch, NoSQL, RDBMS
  • Application Architecture: Cloud-native, event-driven, secure multi-tenant microservices architecture with high scalability, resiliency, fault tolerance, and high availability
  • Cloud Architecture: Microsoft Azure (AKS, ARM Templates, Azure AD, Event Hub, Application Gateway, Virtual Networks, HDInsight), Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD
  • Frameworks/Others: Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Spring Boot, Hibernate, GraphQL, Elasticsearch, Spark, Ignite, Git, Gradle, DevOps, Infrastructure Automation

What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, Engineering, and Customer teams to define technical solutions, prioritize work, and manage project risks and dependencies.
  • Remain hands-on by participating in architecture discussions, solution design, coding sessions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Mentor engineers by providing technical guidance, reviewing designs and implementations, and fostering engineering best practices across the team.
  • Drive engineering excellence through clean code practices, CI/CD, DevOps, automation, security, observability, and operational readiness.
  • Monitor project health, communicate progress to stakeholders, proactively resolve delivery impediments, and ensure predictable execution.
  • Participate in the engineering on-call rotation to provide technical leadership during production incidents, root cause analysis, and continuous platform improvements.

What we are looking for

  • 11–12 years of experience in software engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, Snowflake, and cloud-native application development.
  • Proven experience leading technical projects while actively contributing to architecture, design, coding, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, cloud-native microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, Microsoft Azure, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies including Snowflake, Spark, Scala, Elasticsearch, NoSQL/RDBMS, and designing scalable, high-performance SaaS platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and influence engineering decisions across geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in Agile/Scrum, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical depth and delivery commitments.
