Senior Project Manager

What you will do

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Project Management Team as we are actively recruiting for a Senior Project Manager responsible for the operational objectives of planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of a project from launch to final customer acceptance. This position reports to the Manager of Project Management.

What we’re looking for

  • Facilitate project kickoff after purchase order receipt, aligning technical, commercial, scope, timing, and risk handoffs across key stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate schedules covering design, manufacturing, build, debug, buyoff, shipment, installation, commissioning, and final acceptance.
  • Lead customer and internal reviews to resolve issues, manage open items, clarify scope, track deliverables, mitigate risks, and escalate cost, quality, or delivery constraints.
  • Track and report project performance, including budgets, milestones, ECRs, customer POs, contract deviations, and recovery actions.
  • Monitor each project phase, including, dimensional checks, weld/process validation, design reviews, runoff, buyoff, installation, commissioning, and final acceptance.
  • Drive projects to completion within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer requirements while identifying risks, commercial impacts, and resource constraints.

What you need to succeed

  • Mechanical, Controls, or Weld Engineering degree/diploma, or equivalent technical trade experience in automated manufacturing, metal joining, or custom capital equipment required.
  • Minimum 10 years’ progressive project management experience in custom-engineered equipment, preferably welding, robotic automation, tooling, or body-in-white assembly.
  • Strong knowledge of fixture design, customer specifications, GD&T, process requirements, controls integration, and manufacturing execution preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams, mentor project staff, resolve issues, and drive accountability across internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Able to manage customer relationships, communicate status, negotiate scope and timing, support design/buyoff reviews, and resolve escalated issues professionally.
  • Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple complex projects, competing priorities, compressed schedules, budget limits, and time-critical deliverables.
  • Willing and able to travel to customer, supplier, installation, and commissioning sites as needed.
  • Good proficiency with business systems and project-management tools for schedules, budgets, documentation, communication, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and related collaboration tools.

 Wage Range: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00
