Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Salesforce Administration & Enhancement

  • Configure and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, Lightning Record Pages, record types, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, custom permissions, and security settings
  • Test and validate new features, enhancements, and system changes before deployment
  • Partner closely with our third-party Salesforce development team on projects, enhancements, and issue resolution
  • Support ongoing platform improvements and CRM optimization initiatives
  • Learn and support a highly customized Salesforce environment and unique business processes
  • Maintain data quality and support data governance efforts

Reporting & Scorecards

  • Manage performance scorecard processes for 500+ sales associates
  • Extract data from Salesforce and process, validate, and analyze results using Excel
  • Support Power BI reporting and dashboard publication
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across reporting platforms

Training & Enablement

  • Create user documentation, training materials, and job aids
  • Deliver training sessions as needed
  • Support escalated CRM-related questions and issues

Additional Information

This role is best suited for candidates with hands-on Salesforce administration experience who enjoy balancing technical platform ownership with reporting, analysis, and business process support. Candidates with both Salesforce administration experience and a strong operational mindset will be particularly successful.

This is not a maintenance-only Salesforce role. We're looking for someone who enjoys learning, improving processes, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact on how the business uses Salesforce.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of Salesforce Administrator experience
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration, security, testing, and enhancements
  • Experience creating and maintaining custom objects, fields, page layouts, Lightning pages, record types, validation rules, profiles, and permission sets
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Power BI experience
  • Foodservice, food distribution, sales operations, or CPG industry experience
  • Experience creating training materials and user documentation
