📌 About the Role

tl;dr — We’re looking for a PM to own and evolve the core Autocapture experience — using AI to reimagine how documentation gets created in a world where both people and AI agents rely on it to get work done. We’re building toward a future where Scribe understands work as it happens and turns it into useful documentation without users having to remember to record. We’re looking for someone with strong product judgment, a bias for action, and an instinct for turning ambiguity into action.

⚒️ What You'll Do

In this role, you will work with a team of 7 engineers, Matt Lott as your Engineering Manager, and Derick Anies as your design lead. The Hiring Manager is Karishma Irani, and you will be responsible for:

  • Driving company-level goals and closely tracking relevant business metrics to validate/invalidate our roadmap.
  • Developing a vision for your product area and continuously iterating on it with input from customers, the revenue team, and the market.
  • Building toward the future of automated documentation. You’ll tackle 0→1 problems around how Scribe understands work, identifies what’s worth documenting, and increasingly turns that work into useful knowledge for both people and AI agents.
  • Partnering closely with Engineering and Design to drive every project from ideation to launch in a way that pushes the quality bar for the product.
  • Being the face of Scribe. Whether it’s presenting the product vision to the C-suite or responding to feature requests in our Scribe Community Slack, our PM team engages with users daily to keep a pulse on the product.
  • Measuring the impact of every release and using data-powered insights to inform and improve our future bets. Please leave the ‘feature factory’ mindset at the door.

🔍 What We're Looking For

  • Extremely curious and love chasing the “why, why, why” to deeply understand user issues and obsess over creative ways to solve them.
  • 6+ years of building SaaS products with a track record of creating experiences that delight end users. You care deeply about making complex technology feel simple, intuitive, and magical.
  • You love building and tinkering with AI. You don’t need to have shipped an AI product professionally, but you’re actively experimenting with AI tools, models, and prototypes and developing your own taste for what makes an AI experience feel magical versus frustrating. You’re excited to keep pushing what’s possible as the technology evolves.
  • Turn ambiguity into action. You’re comfortable starting with a messy problem rather than a well-defined roadmap, forming hypotheses, making decisions with imperfect information, and getting something into users’ hands to learn.
  • Outcomes over output. You thrive on owning a company-level OKR and driving towards impact rather than just following processes and frameworks.
  • Think big and deliver incrementally. You love dreaming of “big ideas,” but balance that with incrementally shipping value to our users at a high velocity.
  • Have a strong POV. You can discern good products from great, and stakeholders rely on you to represent the customer and market.
  • Thrive in autonomy. You enjoy shaping the product, not just shipping it. You identify the problems, define the roadmap, and defend your decisions with calculated trade-offs.

If you’re reading this thinking “that’s me!”, we want to meet you!
