The IT Infrastructure Project Manager leads multiple IT infrastructure projects or programs, emphasizing delivery governance, dependency management, and PSO development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct end-to-end delivery of multiple complex projects or programs concurrently.
- Monitor inter-project dependencies and assess associated risks.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project plans, RAID logs, and status reports.
- Ensure accurate project documentation and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure adherence to established security protocols, change management processes, and delivery standards.
- Promote collaboration across cross-functional teams and coordinate relationships with external vendors.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and issues.
- Foster continuous improvement in delivery processes by contributing to PSO standards, templates, and tooling.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Post-secondary education in IT, Project Management, or related field.
- 6+ years of IT infrastructure or technology project delivery experience.
- Experience managing complex IT initiatives or programs concurrently.
- Strong governance, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Exceptional skills in critical thinking, analytical reasoning, leadership, and effective teamwork.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Experience with project tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, or JIRA.
- PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or operational technology environments is an asset.
- A willingness to travel for on-site visits and stakeholder engagement is considered an asset.
