This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer - Supply Chain based in United States.

This role combines business intelligence, data engineering, and consulting to help Supply Chain and Operations teams make smarter, data-driven decisions. You will work directly with business stakeholders to understand complex operational challenges and turn them into scalable technical solutions. The position covers dashboard development, SQL, data modeling, enterprise integrations, reporting automation, and data quality. You will help replace manual reporting with reliable, centralized analytics solutions that improve visibility and operational efficiency. The environment is highly collaborative and remote, with opportunities to work alongside technical teams and Fortune 500 clients. Success requires both strong technical capabilities and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Accountabilities:

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and project teams to understand business objectives, reporting requirements, and operational challenges.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable business intelligence, reporting, and data solutions that support enterprise decision-making.
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards, KPI frameworks, and executive reporting using platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable BI technologies.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries, views, and data models supporting operational and analytical reporting.
  • Integrate information from multiple enterprise applications and business systems into centralized reporting environments.
  • Develop reliable data pipelines and reporting processes that improve data accessibility, consistency, and scalability.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and repetitive processes, improving productivity and reducing operational effort.
  • Strengthen data quality, governance, documentation, and reporting standards across analytics environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and business stakeholders to develop internal data applications and integrated solutions.
  • Present analytical findings, insights, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and responsibly leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance solution development.
  • Contribute to a collaborative consulting environment by proactively identifying opportunities to create additional value for clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including experience developing complex queries, views, and data models.
  • Strong experience designing enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience integrating and consolidating data from multiple enterprise systems and business applications.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, data quality, and reporting architecture.
  • Experience developing KPIs, operational metrics, and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience supporting Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Construction, or similarly complex operational environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into practical, scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and productivity tools, with an understanding of responsible and effective use.
  • Preferred experience with Python for automation or ETL development and Node.js web applications.
  • Familiarity with modern ETL orchestration technologies and ERP environments is a plus.
  • Experience integrating platforms such as Procore, Oracle Unifier, Primavera P6, SAP, Oracle ERP, O9, or comparable enterprise systems is advantageous.
  • Experience working in Agile, consulting, or client-facing delivery environments is preferred.
