Project Manager – Business Readiness (Operating Model, Reporting, Controls)
Program: AmpliFi ERP Upgrade Program Location: India (Onsite/Hybrid, per program requirements) Engagement Type: Contract Experience Level: Mid-Level (typically 6–10 years)
Position Overview The Business Readiness Project Manager will lead efforts to prepare the organization for the operational, reporting, change management and control impacts of the ERP transformation. This includes redesigning operating models, ensuring reporting continuity, and embedding controls frameworks into new processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Business Readiness project plan covering operating model redesign, management/statutory reporting, and internal controls.
- Schedule and facilitate status meetings, domain meetings, steering committee and workshop specific to Business Readiness.
- Work with process owners to map current-state and future-state operating models across impacted functions.
- Coordinate with Controls/Compliance/Internal Audit teams to ensure SOX and regulatory control requirements are addressed in the new environment.
- Track reporting requirements (regulatory, management, statutory) and ensure alignment with new ERP data structures and outputs.
- Facilitate organizational readiness assessments, including role mapping, RACI development, and process ownership transitions.
- Manage risk and issue logs specific to business readiness, escalating cross-workstream dependencies.
- Support cutover planning, go-live readiness checklists, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Prepare readiness dashboards and status updates for program leadership.
Program-Level Responsibilities:
- Adhere to AmpliFi program governance, PMO standards, and reporting templates/cadence.
- Participate in cross-workstream coordination meetings to manage interdependencies.
- Escalate risks and issues through defined program governance channels.
- Support overall cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization for assigned domain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 6–10 years of project management experience, with exposure to operating model design, internal controls, or business transformation programs.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance, internal controls frameworks (e.g., COSO), and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience supporting organizational change in large-scale ERP or transformation programs.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong analytical and facilitation skills; ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet) and collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint).
- Ability to work across time zones with global stakeholders (onshore/offshore coordination).
Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
