The role will involve close collaboration with utilities, energy suppliers and multidisciplinary internal teams across finance, commercial, legal and project delivery functions.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and play an important role in shaping processes, improving operational performance and supporting the continued development of the wider function.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the operational management of a portfolio of energy contracts across multiple EMEA markets.
  • Oversee the monthly validation of complex utility bills, Power Purchase Agreement invoices and Energy Service Agreement invoices.
  • Identify, investigate and independently resolve billing discrepancies, invoice disputes and commercial queries with utilities and external partners.
  • Review and improve invoice-validation processes, including the use of automation to increase accuracy and reduce processing times.
  • Monitor key contractual milestones, including Conditions Precedent, Commercial Operation Dates, contract expiry dates and other critical obligations.
  • Maintain accurate energy portfolio trackers and ensure the quality, completeness and integrity of portfolio data.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements and the tracking of environmental attributes.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor operational KPIs, financial performance, contractual obligations and portfolio risks.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial and quantitative analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making.
  • Identify risks, trends and opportunities across the portfolio and develop clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate across finance, legal, procurement, commercial and delivery teams to ensure actions are completed effectively.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have strong project management experience within energy, utilities, infrastructure, renewable energy, asset management, data centres, site selection or another complex project environment.
  • Have experience managing commercial, operational or contractual workstreams across multiple stakeholders.
  • Possess strong financial and analytical skills, with experience reviewing complex invoices, commercial data or cost information.
  • Have a solid understanding of contract administration, milestone tracking and issue resolution.
  • Are confident managing external suppliers, utilities or commercial partners.
  • Can interpret complex data and communicate clear insights and recommendations.
  • Have advanced Excel skills and experience developing dashboards or management reporting using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
