Your place in our story

The Financial Analyst supports informed decision-making across the Minto Group by providing financial insights, forward-looking analysis, and strategic business perspectives that help shape planning, assess performance, and identify risks and opportunities within a dynamic housing market.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the role combines strong analytical capabilities with critical thinking to connect financial results with operational performance, market dynamics, and economic trends—helping leadership evaluate future opportunities, assess risks, and translate complex data into meaningful insights.

Here’s how you’ll contribute

  • Support development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans with insightful analysis for management and Board reporting.
  • Challenge existing processes and implement innovative approaches for data collection, reporting, and analysis to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Analyze financial and operational results, identify key performance drivers, and create compelling commentary for leadership.
  • Maintain and enhance monthly cash flow reporting; ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in financial close and consolidation activities.
  • Provide analytical support to FP&A initiatives; investigate trends and assess performance.
  • Enhance forecasting and reporting processes through scalable models, streamlined templates, and automation using advanced Excel, Power BI, and similar tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting (strong graduates considered).
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and consolidation concepts.
  • Experience with tools like OneStream, Workiva, Power BI, or Yardi is an asset.

Hiring pay range rate: $60,000 to $68,000
