Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is a boutique Australian marketing consultancy that specialises in helping healthcare professionals grow through clear, practical, and data-driven marketing strategies. They’re known for their approachable, down-to-earth working style and focus on delivering real, tangible results rather than overcomplicated agency talk. With a small and collaborative team, they offer a supportive environment where new team members can contribute meaningfully, learn quickly, and be involved in a variety of marketing and administrative initiatives.

Role Overview: We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented Webflow & WordPress Developer who understands that great websites aren’t just about making them look good or function correctly. You’ll be responsible for building fast, clean, well-structured, Google-friendly websites with minimal code bloat and a strong foundation for SEO and digital marketing.

The ideal candidate understands how development decisions impact site speed, search performance, usability, and the ability for marketers to manage and optimise a website effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop and maintain websites primarily using Webflow and WordPress, with a strong focus on Webflow.
  • Write clean, efficient and maintainable code with minimal unnecessary scripts, elements and code bloat.
  • Ensure websites are fast, responsive and optimised for performance across devices.
  • Apply SEO-friendly development practices, including clean site structure, semantic HTML and crawlable page architecture.
  • Build websites with marketers in mind, ensuring pages and structures are easy to optimise, edit and scale.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues affecting website speed, structure, SEO and functionality.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to ensure development decisions support SEO, paid media, analytics and conversion goals.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure websites are technically sound before launch.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across layout, functionality, responsiveness and technical implementation.
  • Proven experience developing websites using Webflow and WordPress.
  • Strong Webflow experience is essential.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern web development principles.
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO and Google-friendly website architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to build fast-loading websites without unnecessary code or technical bloat.
  • Strong understanding of website performance, Core Web Vitals and page-speed optimisation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong quality-control mindset.
  • Ability to understand how website structure and development affect marketers, SEO and conversion performance.
  • Able to work independently, troubleshoot issues and make sound technical decisions.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
