· Work directly with developers to debug issues, review fixes, and validate builds on the equipment
· Partner with Mechanical Engineering during final phases of testing and support equipment readiness for new customer launches, including software installation and configuration on machines
· Contribute to release readiness decisions for Alpine Saws and help define plant QA KPIs and metrics
· Share operator and equipment knowledge with the QA team and act as a buddy to new team members

- Technical support experience working directly with software development teams on troubleshooting, testing, and resolving issues in machine automation
- Experience installing and configuring manufacturing software on equipment during new customer launches or startups
- Ability to read logs, configuration files, and data formats such as XML and JSON; familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server a plus
- Experience with JIRA and a test management tool such as Zephyr or TestRail
- Knowledge of manual testing strategies such as functional, end-to-end, regression, and acceptance testing, and when to apply them
