About the Role

We are looking for a designer who owns work from idea to final execution.

You will own Wincent’s visual design across web, campaigns, social media, presentations, merchandise, print, and event materials, and you will own our website. You will be responsible for maintaining a consistently high visual standard across all of them.

This is not a role where your responsibility ends with a design file. You will use AI and modern web tools to develop concepts, design, build, troubleshoot, and deploy. Whether we are launching a landing page, evolving our visual identity, or producing merchandise for an international student competition, you own the outcome from brief to delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Own and evolve Wincent’s visual brand and design quality, applying the visual identity consistently across digital and physical touchpoints.

• Own the website: design, build, update, and deploy web pages using AI-native workflows and modern web tools.

• Monitor and improve website performance and UX, using analytics and user behaviour to understand what works, identify issues, and make improvements.

• Take both quick-turnaround design requests and larger projects from brief to final execution, maintaining the same standard of quality across both.

• Use AI throughout your daily work for ideation, design, prototyping, web execution, and problem-solving.

• Own merchandise and print design through production, including production-ready artwork, supplier coordination, samples, and final quality.

• Own Wincent’s day-to-day visual design needs, from social media posts, presentations, event materials, and dinner menus to campaigns, merchandise, print, and other company requests.

• Stay on top of relevant design, web, AI, and industry trends, and proactively identify ideas worth applying at Wincent.

What We’re Looking For

• Senior level: at least 6 years of professional experience in design.

• A strong graphic design portfolio with excellent visual judgement, typography, composition, and attention to detail.

• Professional experience working with brands and visual identities across digital and physical formats.

• Strong practical experience with AI tools and a genuine interest in using them as part of your everyday creative workflow, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience and real work shipped with them.

• Comfortable using AI-assisted web workflows to build, edit, troubleshoot, and deploy web pages.

• Experience with print and merchandise production, including preparing production-ready artwork, and working directly with suppliers.

• Examples of projects you personally took from initial brief to finished output.

• High ownership. You can take an ambiguous request and turn it into a finished output without needing someone to coordinate every step.

• Resourceful and technically curious. When something does not work, your instinct is to understand the problem and figure out how to solve it.

• Comfortable with direct feedback, fast iteration, and changing priorities.

• Fluent English.

What This Looks Like in Practice

We might tell you: “We need a new landing page and campaign.”

You understand the objective, prepare the brief, use AI to explore initial directions, create the design, incorporate feedback, build and launch the page, and deliver the supporting campaign assets.

Or we might need a new T-shirt for an international mathematics or physics competition. You develop the concept, create the design, prepare it for production, work with the supplier, review samples, and make sure the final product meets our standards. These T-shirts can become collectibles for participants, so we care about creating something they actually want to keep.

In both cases, the principle is the same: you own the outcome, not just the design.
