Job Description

The Product Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of pharmaceutical products, from development to launch. Key responsibilities include portfolio management, strategic planning, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, regulatory, and R&D teams. A solid understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape and strong project leadership are essential for success.

Product Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute product strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership on positioning, pricing, and market access plans.
  • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to ensure strategic alignment and compliance.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of products, from development through launch.
  • Work with R&D and regulatory teams to navigate clinical development and approvals.
  • Ensure on-time product launches by managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder coordination.

Market Analysis & Customer Insights

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze feedback from customers, sales teams, and healthcare professionals to enhance product offerings.

Sales & Marketing Support

  • Shape product positioning and messaging to highlight key differentiators.
  • Train and support sales teams to optimize product promotion and engagement.
  • Monitor performance metrics and customer insights to guide marketing and sales strategies.

Financial Performance & Budgeting

  • Track revenue, costs, and profitability across the product portfolio.
  • Manage product budgets and collaborate with finance to optimize resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience in the therapeutic area relevant to the Obstetric & Gynecology or Orthopedics is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, brand management, or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, product lifecycle management, and market dynamics.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including regulatory, marketing, and sales.
