From determining the scope of a project to overseeing post-campaign marketing analytics, the AFL Marketing Project Manager will work with global teams to assign tasks, set deadlines, and determine the project’s expense and resourcerequirements — all while adjusting to changes over the course of the project.As a key contributor on the Marketing Operations Team, he/she will coordinate communication with internal and external stakeholders ensuring everyone has the information and buy-in needed to complete the project successfully.

- Communication:Communicating with team members, executive leadership, external stakeholders, vendors, and freelancers is an important skill for project management for marketing.
- Analytical:Manages a variety of project and campaign types with related marketing analytics and post-campaign reporting – works with a process driven mindset to accomplish tasks at hand
- Decision-making:Make informed decisions on a tight timeline in a fast-paced, high volume marketing environment
- Resource allocation:Marketing resource management allows for added agility and flexibility as obstacles or bottlenecks arise
- Proficiency with AI-driven project management tools:Manage projects effectively using marketing project workflow software to set deadlines, track resources, and ensure team member accountability
- Ability to set deadlines:Deadline forecasting for multiple timelines across several projects simultaneously
- Task management:Work with the Traffic Manager to outline and delegate project tasks effectively to ensure deadlines are met
- Effective project status meeting delivery: Ensure marketing team members have the information they need when they need it. This transparency builds trust and promotes faster decision-making when issues arise or opportunities emerge.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field with equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing coordination, project management, or account supervision; project management certification a plus
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Monday.com, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
- Working knowledge of marketing/advertising channels, disciplines, and workflows in a marketing agency or corporate marketing environment
