What's the role about?
We are looking for a QUALITY ENGINEER with a strong focus on automation to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of test strategy and automation efforts across multiple product areas, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software. You’ll design and maintain scalable automated test suites across API, backend, and UI layers, while continuously improving frameworks, tools, and CI/CD integration. Working closely with Engineering, Product, and QA teams, you will help define testable requirements, identify risks early in the development cycle, and advocate for automation-first, shift-left testing practices. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving quality through innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What do we require from you?
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation, SDET, or quality engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScripSolid experience with API testing and backend validation.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, test strategies, and quality engineering best practices.
- Ability to independently own and deliver test automation for complex systems.
- Experience with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured, Postman, Gatling, JMeter, or similar.
- Experience testing distributed systems, cloud-native applications, or data platforms.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Exposure to performance, load, or reliability testing.
- Experience mentoring junior QA engineers.
