Senior Financial Analyst

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This position is ONSITE Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at our El Paso TX Helen of Troy Eaton facility.

The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic Finance Business Partner for the El Paso manufacturing facility, providing support to drive operational performance, profitability, and business growth. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Engineering, and Plant Leadership to ensure financial objectives are achieved while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

The successful candidate will contribute with month-end close activities, cost analysis, inventory controls, and performance reporting. This position plays a critical role in supporting plant decision-making through meaningful financial insights and working in adherence to Eaton financial policies and procedures.

The Financial Analyst contributes for maintaining strong financial controls, identifying risks and opportunities, driving process improvements, and supporting a culture of accountability throughout the organization.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 -$100,000 annually a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

In this role:

• Analyze variances between actual results, forecasts, budgets, and prior periods, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Human Resources, and Procurement to improve overall business performance.
• Support physical inventory counts and cycle count programs while ensuring compliance with inventory control procedures.
• Monitor scrap and freight variances and provide actionable recommendations to operations leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Eaton accounting policies, internal controls, and corporate financial procedures.

Qualifications:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Cost Accounting.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and analyzing operational financial performance.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three (3) or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar manufacturing systems.
• Previous experience supporting multiple cost centers or manufacturing departments.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Eaton Business System (EBS) principles.

Skills:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, PowerBI, financial modeling, and data analysis.
