Job Description:

Quevera is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support the Secure the Enterprise initiative in Linthicum, Maryland. This position offers a hybrid work opportunity after 60 days of employment, subject to approval and work priorities.

In this role, you will help transition the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering throughout the project life cycle.

You will support infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration, and deployment while supporting the project's compliance and security posture. The role is focused on delivering automation that enables other teams to operate smoothly.

Work Schedule

  • Primary Work Location: Linthicum, Maryland.
  • Telework: Opportunity to work remotely one (1) day per week after 60 days of employment, subject to approval and prioritized productive work.
  • Remote Day: Wednesday or Thursday, depending on prioritized productive work.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration, and deployment.
  • Support the project's compliance and security posture.
  • Develop and deliver automation that enables other teams to operate smoothly.
  • Support cloud hosting and automation.
  • Develop and maintain GitLab Pipelines.
  • Utilize Ansible to support automation activities.
  • Perform Python scripting.
  • Support patch management and IAVA tracking.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
  • All experience and education must be in a technical field directly related to the labor category, with diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees from accredited institutions.
  • Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience.
  • Associate's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience.
  • Master's degree and a minimum of six (6) years of experience.
  • Doctorate degree and a minimum of four (4) years of experience.
  • Linux system administration experience.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Python scripting experience.
  • AWS or other cloud experience.
  • Experience with GitLab Pipelines.
  • Experience with Ansible.

  • Elasticsearch.
  • NiFi.
