Summary

We are looking for a Senior AI Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure, automated delivery pipelines, and MLOps/LLMOps workflows on Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will take technical ownership of enterprise CI/CD automation while scaling AI-powered applications and integrating AI productivity tools into the software delivery lifecycle. Operating with a high level of autonomy, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to ensure high availability, security, and velocity across our Azure ecosystem.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure

• Proven experience architecting and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions

• Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates

• Demonstrated experience operationalizing and deploying AI/ML workloads, Azure OpenAI Services, or LLM applications (MLOps/LLMOps)

• Solid background in container orchestration using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and optimize scalable CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for software services and AI models

• Provision and maintain secure, compliant Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep)

• Implement MLOps and LLMOps practices to automate the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of AI models and Azure OpenAI workloads

• Integrate AI-assisted developer tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and automated security checks (DevSecOps) into development pipelines

• Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring high availability and optimal resource utilization

• Establish robust logging, telemetry, and alerting architectures using Azure Monitor and Application Insights

• Collaborate with engineering, data, and security teams to streamline release workflows and drive cost-optimization strategies

Required Technical Skills

Strong experience in several of the following areas:

• Cloud & DevOps: Microsoft Azure (AKS, Azure Functions, Azure App Services), Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure Resource Manager

• AI & MLOps Integration: Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Machine Learning, MLOps/LLMOps pipeline automation, model serving

• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Helm

• DevSecOps & Observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Azure Key Vault, SonarQube, security scanning tools

Nice to Have

• Experience managing infrastructure for vector databases (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Qdrant) or RAG pipeline deployment

• Official Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert AZ-400, Azure Solutions Architect AZ-305, or Azure AI Engineer AI-102)

• Exposure to agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen) or AI-driven infrastructure automation

Soft Skills

• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)

• High level of technical ownership, self-direction, and proactive problem-solving

• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical discussions between software, data, and business teams

• Strong analytical mindset with a commitment to security, reliability, and continuous improvement
