Position Summary
The Business Analyst supports requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, reporting inventory management, user support, documentation development, and operational analysis activities. This position serves as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring that delivered solutions address operational and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Develop functional requirements, process maps, and business documentation.
- Support reporting inventory management and production calendars.
- Coordinate stakeholder requests and track issue resolution.
- Assist with dashboard and reporting requirements development.
- Support user acceptance testing and release validation activities.
- Analyze data-quality issues and reporting discrepancies.
- Develop standard operating procedures, user guides, and training materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 4 years of applicable experience
Required Technical Skills
- Requirements documentation and business analysis.
- Process mapping and workflow documentation.
- SQL querying and data analysis fundamentals.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Tableau and BI reporting concepts.
- JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Data-quality validation and reconciliation.
- Cloud-based application and reporting environments.
Preferred Experience
- SBA lending operations and lender-monitoring activities.
- Loan portfolio management or financial services operations.
- Federal credit, financial assistance, or grant-management programs.
