Position Summary

The Business Analyst supports requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, reporting inventory management, user support, documentation development, and operational analysis activities. This position serves as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring that delivered solutions address operational and reporting needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Develop functional requirements, process maps, and business documentation.
  • Support reporting inventory management and production calendars.
  • Coordinate stakeholder requests and track issue resolution.
  • Assist with dashboard and reporting requirements development.
  • Support user acceptance testing and release validation activities.
  • Analyze data-quality issues and reporting discrepancies.
  • Develop standard operating procedures, user guides, and training materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 4 years of applicable experience

Required Technical Skills

  • Requirements documentation and business analysis.
  • Process mapping and workflow documentation.
  • SQL querying and data analysis fundamentals.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Tableau and BI reporting concepts.
  • JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Data-quality validation and reconciliation.
  • Cloud-based application and reporting environments.

Preferred Experience

  • SBA lending operations and lender-monitoring activities.
  • Loan portfolio management or financial services operations.
  • Federal credit, financial assistance, or grant-management programs.
