Do you have a strong background and passion for Sales Engineer? Then you might be the person we are looking for! Take on the role as Sales Engineer - Japan and become a key part of our Japan team.

This position will be based at Osaka and reports to Sales Manager and is a part of the team with members at Osaka office in Japan, with the ambition to support, challenge and develop each other on a daily basis.

The role as Sales Engineer - Japan

  • To perform Sales-Focused activities in Japan targeting Market Development and Growth in the General Industrial/Manufacturing, Power Generation
  • To perform Sales-Focused activities in NL washer targeting Market Development and Growth in the General Industrial/Manufacturing, Power Generation and Petrochemical industry, and main focus is Building Infra/Construction and Highway
  • Interact with Engineering, Maintenance, OEMs, and Owners to promote Nord-Lock Group product portfolio
  • Train, grow and develop Distributors/Partners, in Japan for them to actively take part in and contribute to the Regions Sales Turnover and increased market coverage
  • Support customers with Sales-Quotations and Technical support (pre-sales) on a timely and accurate basis
  • Regular Updates of Customers accounts/activities and projects via Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Conduct Market research, Awareness and Knowledgeable about competitor’s products and capabilities
  • Works within a regional matrix in support of the overall growth of the Japan market
  • Travel within Japan required, when necessary
  • Controls Expenses to meet budget guidelines
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Completion of other duties as requested by the Reporting Manager, the BUs

Requirements

  • Sales experience
  • Driver’s license
  • Microsoft Office
  • Discipline and ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Independent, Resourceful and Proactive in problems solving
  • Related Building Infra/construction and Highway knowledge and experiences will be a bonus
  • Well-developed sense of customer support and relationship maintenance combined with an outgoing and open personality
  • Willing to travel locally, whenever necessary
  • It is better if language skills in spoken and written English
